Origami Tech Updates: Portfolio, Charts, Futures Bots, and Faster Terminal Performance

Introduction

Origami Tech has released a new set of product updates focused on portfolio visibility, chart accuracy, futures bot controls, manual crypto trading workflows, and terminal performance.

New Portfolio and Statistics Pages

A new Portfolio page has been added to Origami Tech, giving users a clearer place to review account level data and monitor overall crypto trading activity.

The Statistics section also received a major update with a new detailed page and refreshed charts. Users can now review strategy and account performance in a more structured way, with improved filters, updated date picker behavior, and fixed table headers.

These updates make it easier to evaluate bot activity, compare performance, and understand how each crypto trading bot contributes to the broader portfolio.

Smarter Charts with Live Orders and Position Lines

PerceptChart has been upgraded with live orders displayed directly on the chart. This means users can now see active order levels in context, without switching between separate widgets.

A position line has also been added to the chart, helping users quickly understand where an open position sits relative to current market movement.

PerceptChart has also been updated to TitanCharts 3.5.0, bringing chart level improvements and better compatibility with the latest charting experience.

Several chart fixes were included as well. Symbol switching now works without forcing a chart reload, candles load correctly after returning to the browser tab, and volume display issues on the chart have been fixed.

For users running a crypto trading bot app with active strategies, these improvements make chart monitoring more practical, especially when watching live orders, positions, and market movement at the same time.

Updated Order Book and Manual Crypto Trading

The Order Book now includes updated settings and indicators, making market depth easier to read and customize.

Manual orders now support order size in USD. This is a practical improvement for users who think in dollar value rather than asset quantity when placing orders.

Manual order value recalculation has also been fixed when the price changes. Quantity display issues and account selection issues in Manual Orders have been resolved as well.

Order Book and Trades are now cleared when switching symbol or workspace. This helps prevent outdated market data from remaining visible after the user changes context.

Together, these updates make manual crypto trading workflows faster, cleaner, and less error prone.

Futures Bot Controls: Position Mode and Reduce Only

Futures bots now support Position Mode, giving users better control over how futures strategies are configured and executed.

Position Mode has also been added to account forms, making futures configuration more consistent across account setup and bot creation.

Reduce Only support has been added for bots, building on the v3.2.0 update that introduced Reduce Only orders for Grid strategies.

In v3.2.0, Reduce Only was added as a dedicated flag inside Grid configuration for futures markets. When enabled, Grid orders can only reduce or close an existing position. They cannot increase exposure or open a new position.

Reduce Only works only in One Way Position Mode. If an account uses Hedge Mode, the Reduce Only flag is not applied.

This helps reduce the risk of accidental position flips when closing or reducing futures positions through Grid logic.

For users building a futures crypto trading bot, these controls make position management safer and more predictable.

Positions Table Improvements

The positions table now displays liquidation price, giving users another important futures risk metric directly inside the terminal.

One Way positions are now displayed correctly as Long or Short, making position direction easier to understand at a glance.

Zero positions are now hidden, reducing table noise and helping users focus only on active exposure.

Table headers in Statistics and positions have also been fixed, improving readability across data heavy views.

Account Setup and IP Whitelist Support

The add account form now supports IP Whitelist setup. This gives users a clearer way to configure exchange API access with additional request restrictions when supported by the exchange.

Position Mode has also been added to account forms, helping users configure futures related account behavior during setup.

These updates improve the account connection process and make futures account configuration more transparent.

New Onboarding Flow and Portfolio Tour

Onboarding is now split into a page by page flow, making the first user experience easier to follow.

A separate tour has also been added for Portfolio, helping users understand the new page and its role in monitoring account and strategy performance.

Onboarding performance and flow have been optimized, and onboarding now resumes correctly after a page reload.

This makes the setup journey smoother for new users and reduces friction when returning to onboarding after an interrupted session.

Better Tables, Grouping, and Active Orders Performance

A new table with drag and drop support has been added.

Active Orders now support virtualization and grouping, improving performance and usability when working with larger order lists.

A fast scroll issue that could show an empty screen has also been fixed.

These updates make table heavy workflows more stable, especially for users managing many orders, bots, positions, competitions, or account records.

Terminal Performance and Layout Updates

The terminal has been optimized to reduce memory usage and unnecessary re renders.

Bot filters have also been optimized, helping bot lists respond faster and more efficiently.

The app header, navigation, and tabs have been updated, and new interface colors have been added.

Grid layout is now remembered, so users can return to a more consistent workspace after customizing their terminal.

Symbol search has also been improved, making it faster to find the right crypto pair while setting up bots, reviewing charts, or switching contexts.

These interface and performance updates make Origami Tech feel faster, cleaner, and more reliable during everyday crypto trading bot management.

Bot and Preset Improvements

Bot and grid presets are now sorted from newest to oldest, helping users find the latest presets faster.

Automatically selected symbols are now saved in presets, improving preset persistence and reducing repeated setup steps.

Several bot related fixes were included. Bot status switch behavior has been fixed, symbol editing in bots now works correctly, and bot names are now displayed in Competition Bot Management.

These improvements make bot setup, editing, and competition workflows more consistent across the product.

Competitions, Rewards, Invites, and Projects

Competition data and total rewards display issues have been fixed.

Rewards pagination now works for up to 200 competitions, making rewards history easier to browse for active competition users.

The Invites layout has also been fixed.

Project filters are now reset when switching projects, helping avoid stale filters carrying over between separate workspaces.

These updates improve the experience for users working across competitions, teams, rewards, and multiple projects.

Stability Fixes Across the App

WebSocket connection stability has been improved, making live data behavior more reliable.

Exchange and symbol desynchronization issues have been fixed, helping the app keep the correct trading context across widgets and workflows.

History Orders now display order direction correctly.

Statistics date picker and filter issues have been fixed.

These fixes reduce small inconsistencies that can interrupt daily crypto trading workflows and make the terminal more dependable overall.
