Origami Tech Updates: Counter Orders, Scaled Orders, Mobile Terminal, and Faster Performance

Introduction

Origami Tech has released a new set of product updates focused on faster order management, mobile access, clearer portfolio data, and improved performance across the crypto trading bot platform.

The main additions include Counter Orders created directly from PerceptChart, Scaled Orders for manual crypto trading, mobile versions of key platform sections, synchronized Portfolio and Terminal tables, and further WebSocket and Order Book optimizations.

Counter Orders Directly from PerceptChart

Counter Order support is now available in PerceptChart in beta. Users can select a range of trades, aggregate the corresponding fills, and create a Counter Order without leaving the chart.

The new flow includes volume presets for 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the selected volume. A custom order size can also be entered when a preset does not match the intended position adjustment.

A dedicated popup brings the main Counter Order settings into one place. Users can select an account and configure Hedge Mode or Reduce Only where applicable.

Origami Tech has also fixed limit order crossing issues that could occur when creating a Counter Order. Together, these changes make it easier to manage exits and position adjustments while monitoring current market activity on the chart.

Scaled Orders for Manual Crypto Trading

Scaled Orders are now available for manual crypto trading across all supported exchanges.

Instead of placing each limit order separately, users can submit multiple laddered orders in a single action. Entry or exit volume can be distributed across several price levels, making staged execution faster to configure and easier to manage.

Universal Order Precision logic has also been added to standardize price and volume rounding across supported markets. When an order is rejected, the crypto trading bot app now displays the rejection reason returned by the backend, giving users more information about what needs to be corrected.

Manual Order processing has received additional improvements, including fixes for accounts using One Way Mode on decentralized exchanges.

Mobile Terminal, Portfolio, and Positions

Origami Tech now includes mobile versions of Terminal, Portfolio, Positions, Referral, and Competitions.

The responsive interface gives users access to essential account data, orders, positions, and competition activity from smaller screens. The Workspace menu has also been adapted for mobile layouts, making navigation more practical across different devices.

These changes extend the core Origami Tech experience beyond desktop and make it easier to monitor automated crypto trading activity when away from a primary workspace.

Clearer Portfolio Data and Synchronized Tables

Portfolio now includes a unified Column Picker, allowing users to manage visible data fields from one consistent control.

A Fee column has been added to both desktop and mobile Portfolio tables. Realized PnL now includes a breakdown tooltip, providing more detail about the values shown in the table.

Portfolio and Terminal tables are also synchronized. Changes to their shared data and settings are now reflected more consistently across both sections of the crypto trading bot platform.

Active Orders received several improvements as well. New Order ID and Client Order ID columns make individual orders easier to identify, while sorting and filtering behavior has been updated. Display issues affecting partially filled orders have also been resolved.

Position Value, sub cent prices, position sorting, and other display elements in the Positions table now behave more consistently.

Faster Bot Setup for Competitions

Competitions now include a one click Setup Bot option.

This reduces the number of steps required to move from a competition page to crypto trading bot configuration. Additional fixes have also been introduced for Competition and Rewards data.

For users participating in several campaigns, the updated workflow makes it easier to prepare a bot and review related activity from the same interface.

More Accurate PerceptChart Labels and Orders

PerceptChart has received further improvements to break even price, liquidation price, current account, and position labels.

Price rounding has been fixed when creating orders from the chart, while open order size is now displayed correctly. The chart also remounts properly when users switch between exchanges.

These updates make chart data more reliable when monitoring positions or placing orders through Origami Tech.

Unified Interface Components

The Origami Tech frontend has been migrated to the @typhoon/wuikit package.

Legacy MUI wrappers and components have been removed, while interface tokens and components have been unified under WUI Kit. Typography and Box components have also been optimized.

This migration creates a more consistent foundation for the interface across desktop and mobile sections while simplifying future product updates.

WebSocket and Order Book Performance

WebSocket subscriptions and queue processing have been optimized to improve live data handling across the platform.

Order Book rendering has also been updated to reduce unnecessary rerenders. This is particularly useful when prices, available liquidity, and active orders are changing quickly.

Together, these improvements help the terminal process frequent updates more efficiently during active crypto trading sessions.

Lighter API, Authentication, and Stability Fixes

Lighter API support has been improved, including fixes for connection and account activation issues.

Password recovery now displays backend errors, giving users clearer information when a request cannot be completed.

The release also includes additional fixes across order handling, positions, rewards, and competitions, improving the overall stability of daily crypto bot trading workflows.
