Keep Each BingX Strategy in Its Own Account

BingX supports sub-accounts that can separate one crypto trading strategy from activity on the main account. Allocate capital to the chosen sub-account and generate API credentials for it. Origami Tech then sends orders through that account, keeping its balance, positions, and order history separate from other crypto trading activity

Use a BingX Sub-Account for a Dedicated Setup

A sub-account can be useful when a strategy needs its own balance and execution history. Instead of mixing every order in one account, connect the selected BingX sub-account to Origami Tech and define the capital that this crypto bot trading setup may use.

Create API Access for the Right Account

In BingX API Management, choose whether the API key belongs to the main account or a sub-account. Create a dedicated key for Origami Tech, label it clearly, complete the required verification, and store the credentials securely after they are issued.

Enable the Markets the Bot Will Use

BingX API permissions can be enabled separately for Spot Trading and Perpetual Futures Trading. Select only the market access required by the strategy, then add the Origami Tech IP address to the BingX API whitelist during key creation.

Keep Execution Linked to Account Allocation

A strategy connected to a BingX sub-account operates within the balance allocated to that account. This makes it easier to evaluate whether an active crypto trading bot remains within its intended capital allocation instead of using funds assigned to other strategies.

Step 01
Create or Choose a BingX Sub-Account

Open BingX sub-account settings and create a separate account if the strategy needs isolated capital or reporting. If you prefer to use the main account, decide this before creating the API key because the key is linked to the account selected during setup.

Step 02
Generate a BingX API Key

Go to API Management, select the main account or the chosen sub-account, and create a new API key. Give it a recognisable label, complete email and Google Authenticator verification, then save the credentials securely.

Step 03
Configure Market Permissions

Enable Spot Trading, Perpetual Futures Trading, or both according to the strategy you plan to run. Add the Origami Tech IP address to the whitelist and confirm the API key settings in BingX.

Step 04
Add BingX and Define the Strategy

In Origami Tech, open Accounts, select Add Account, and choose BingX. Enter the API credentials, choose the connected account and market, then define the conditions, order settings, and limits for the crypto trading bot before activation.

Can I Run BingX Bots Alongside Strategies on Other Exchanges in Origami Tech?

Yes. Origami Tech lets you run multiple BingX bots alongside strategies connected to other supported exchanges from one workspace. Each strategy should still use its own market, balance, position, and risk settings. Origami Tech

What Is BingX Separate Isolated Margin Mode?

Separate Isolated Margin Mode lets BingX open multiple positions in the same direction on the same perpetual contract, with margin allocated to each position separately. Each position can be managed independently, including its close, take-profit, and stop-loss settings. BingX documentation

What Should I Check Before Using BingX Separate Isolated Margin Mode?

BingX requires Single-Asset Mode and Hedge Mode for Separate Isolated Margin. The mode is not available with Multi-Assets Mode, One-Way Mode, TWAP orders, or bonus use. Check these account-level settings before configuring a strategy that relies on separately managed positions.

How Do BingX Tiered Leverage Limits Affect a Bot’s Position Size?

On BingX Perpetual Futures, the available maximum position size can change with the selected leverage, the trading pair, account risk limits, and market-liquidity conditions. Review the current pair parameters before launch or after changing leverage, because an order that previously fit the limits may later be rejected or require a smaller size.
