Origami Tech Updates: New Chart Experience, Account-Aware Widgets, Bot Management Improvements

Introduction

Over the latest update cycle, Origami Tech introduced a new chart experience, improved account-aware widget behavior, refined bot management inside the terminal, upgraded manual trading workflows, and delivered several stability fixes across authentication, connectivity, orders, competitions, referrals, and tables.

This release focuses on making the terminal more flexible, trading workflows faster, and account-specific data easier to manage across widgets, bots, balances, orders, and positions.

New Chart and Trading Data Experience

A new PerceptChart widget has been added to the terminal, bringing live candles, orders, positions, trade markers, bubble icons, and annotations into a more interactive charting experience.

The chart experience is now powered by live trading data integration through @titancharts/react, allowing candles, orders, and positions to update more consistently inside the terminal.

We also improved reconnect handling and loading states for orders, making chart behavior more reliable during network interruptions, browser wake-ups, or delayed trading data updates.

Account-Aware Widgets and Context Improvements

Widget context has been upgraded with account binding, making account-aware widgets more consistent and predictable across the terminal.

Symbol and Account pickers have been added to the default context, allowing users to control the active trading pair and account more easily from a shared workspace context.

Widgets now also support account filtering, so balances, orders, bots, positions, and other account-specific data can be scoped to the selected account.

When switching exchanges, the first available account is now selected automatically, reducing manual setup and making exchange transitions smoother.

Bot Management and Strategy Workflow Updates

Bot workflows are now easier to manage directly from the terminal. A new floating window has been added for bot management, allowing users to create, edit, and manage bots without leaving the terminal workspace.

Bot names now include exchange names, making bots easier to identify when working with multiple accounts or exchanges.

We also improved simulation context handling in the bot grid and fixed empty table states after simulation errors, making bot testing and review more predictable.

Bot and grid presets are now sorted from newest to oldest, helping users find recent configurations faster. Additional searchable fields have also been added for bots, improving discoverability in larger bot lists.

Several bot-related fixes were included as well, including navigation after saving a bot, bot removal from the list, bot postfix handling, active-only filtering, and leverage query handling for DCA and bots.

Manual Trading and Order Book Improvements

Manual order workflows received several usability improvements.

Clicking a row or price in the Order Book now automatically fills the selected price in manual orders, reducing manual input and speeding up order placement.

Leverage query support has been added to manual orders, and leverage handling has also been fixed across DCA and bot-related flows.

The Order Book now includes order points and an Average tooltip, giving users more context while reviewing market depth and order placement levels.

We also fixed several Order Book issues related to tooltip behavior, cross-margin alerts, value display, Average naming, and unnecessary account warnings.

Balances, Positions, and Trading Data Accuracy

Balances now include a USD value toggle, making it easier to switch between asset amounts and estimated USD values.

Position aggregates have been improved with fixes for non-negative notional USD handling, making aggregate position values more accurate and easier to interpret.

Account filtering by exchange has also been fixed in the account popover, improving consistency when reviewing balances, accounts, and exchange-specific data.

Terminal Layout, Widgets, and Floating Windows

Widget tabs can now be reordered with drag-and-drop behind a beta feature flag. Drag-and-drop behavior has also been improved to make widget organization smoother.

Floating windows can now be collapsed to the bottom center of the screen, helping users keep the workspace clean while preserving quick access to important tools.

The floating window UI has been cleaned up, and fixed terminal column widths have been removed, giving the terminal layout more flexibility across different screen sizes and workspace setups.

Component navigation handling has also been refactored to improve consistency across terminal interactions.

Authentication, Onboarding, and Account Experience

Login, sign-up, and forgot password screens have been redesigned, creating a cleaner authentication experience.

A new onboarding flow has also been added to help users get started more smoothly.

Authentication stability was improved with fixes for infinite 401 loops, rejected-token behavior, silent logout, and cross-tab refresh race conditions.

Manual order account selection has also been fixed, improving reliability when placing trades from account-specific contexts.

Orders, Futures, and Market Defaults

Order handling received several fixes, including improvements to order errors, side handling, and current symbol filtering in Order History.

The default market type is now set to futures, helping align the terminal with futures-focused trading workflows.

The position_side field has also been restored in FuturesOrder, improving futures order handling and compatibility.

Competitions, Referrals, Rewards, and Invites

Competition UI issues have been fixed, including result modal behavior and incorrect info card values.

Referral volume conversion display has been corrected, improving clarity in referral-related statistics.

Reward-related issues on the action screen have also been fixed.

Invites logic has been moved to the UI Kit, making invite-related UI behavior more consistent with the rest of the product.

Tables, Search, and General Fixes

Search has been expanded with additional fields for bots and balances, making terminal data easier to find.

Grouped table row sorting has been fixed, improving behavior in table-heavy workflows.

These updates make the terminal more stable, easier to navigate, and more reliable when working with bots, balances, orders, positions, accounts, and exchange-specific data.
