Cypto Bot Workflow Improvements in Origami Tech

Introduction

This update introduces a series of workflow improvements across bot creation, preset management, grid configuration, and execution, making the overall experience more connected and significantly easier to navigate.

A Redesigned Bot Creation Flow

The biggest change is a completely redesigned creation flow that takes users from idea to launch in one continuous path.

Custom Bot → Select Preset → Configure → Run

Instead of jumping between disconnected steps, users now move through a much more natural workflow with fewer interruptions and clearer decisions along the way.

Better ways to start with presets

One of the biggest improvements is the new preset selection step, now built directly into the bot creation flow.

Instead of going straight into manual configuration, users can now decide how they want to begin.

They can:

  • start with a ready-made preset,
  • skip presets entirely and build from scratch,
  • choose between different preset types depending on their strategy.

Two preset formats are now available:

Bot Presets include multiple preconfigured grids, making them ideal for launching complete strategies quickly.

Grid Presets provide a starting point for a single grid configuration, giving users more focused control.

The preset selection experience itself has also been significantly improved.

Users can now:

  • browse available presets more easily,
  • search for specific configurations,
  • filter between internal and personal presets,
  • preview descriptions before importing.

This makes choosing a starting point much faster and removes uncertainty around what’s being imported.

Once a preset is selected and confirmed, the system automatically creates the required grids and takes the user directly into configuration.

Preset management that actually feels complete

Preset functionality has also been reorganized into a much cleaner and more practical workflow.

Users can still save reusable configurations, but preset handling is now more structured.

Presets can only be saved once a grid has already been stored on the backend. This prevents incomplete draft states from being saved as reusable templates and keeps preset libraries cleaner and more reliable.

Saved presets can be reopened at any time through the preset selection flow, making it easy to re-import existing configurations whenever needed.

Preset management now also includes direct editing and deletion.

Users can:

  • update saved presets,
  • remove presets they no longer need,
  • maintain their own reusable preset library from one place.

Bot presets are editable as well, making the entire system far more flexible.

Safer editing, less hesitation

Configuration workflows often involve experimentation and experimentation is much easier when mistakes are reversible.

That’s why this update introduces Reset Changes.

For existing grids, Reset Changes restores the configuration to the exact state it was in when editing began.

For newly created grids, it resets everything back to the default starting state.

This makes testing adjustments much safer without worrying about losing a working setup.

The editing experience itself has also been improved, particularly for longer variable fields, making complex configurations easier to work with and reducing unnecessary scrolling.

Duplicate working setups instantly

When a configuration works, rebuilding it manually just to test a variation is wasted time.

The new Copy Grid / Paste Grid workflow solves that.

Users can now copy an existing grid configuration directly to clipboard, including its core parameters and related settings, then instantly create a new grid from that copied setup.

This makes strategy iteration dramatically faster.

Instead of recreating configurations from memory, users can duplicate a working setup, adjust a single variable, and compare multiple versions in parallel.

Faster execution with fewer steps

Several smaller workflow improvements also make the experience noticeably faster.

The editing flow has been shortened, reducing unnecessary navigation between configuration steps and making setup more direct.

The Calculate action has been renamed to Simulate, better reflecting what the feature actually does.

And perhaps most importantly, Run is now available directly inside bot settings, allowing users to configure and launch without leaving the screen.

Less navigation. Faster execution. A much smoother path from setup to launch.
